■ THE late summer sun hit the RPS as Chipstead settled for a draw at Ashford.
Danyaal Iqbal almost opened the scoring on his return to Ashford with a decent low effort in the second minute but Toby Mawer saved comfortably.
The second half started with a bang when Chipstead’s Jaden Edwards broke the deadlock, chipping to the far post, the ball evading everyone as it bounced and nestled into the far post.
