SPENCER DAY insists he couldn’t stand in the way of star striker Alfie Pavey fulfilling his dream of returning to full-time football at Woking.
Pavey spent just two months with Day at Farnborough but left a lasting impression, scoring eight goals in his opening 10 National League South games for the Cherrywood Road side.
