Bulls eye more as Shields record ends

SOUTH SHIELDS lost ground at the top of the National League North as their 100 per cent home record was ended by Hereford.
The Mariners had plenty of chances to take the lead in the first half, with Aaron Martin hitting the woodwork before skying an effort from 12 yards out.
The Bulls also created chances through the impressive Yusifu Ceesay, before Curtis Pond almost gifted Shields the points – spilling CJ Clarke’s effort before recovering to save.
