DESPITE dominating for long periods, Binfield paid the price as they conceded a stoppage-time equaliser against The Met.
Two struggling teams produced a scrappy game which lacked quality for long periods.
After nine minutes, however, Binfield took the lead when Dontaye Whittaker finished from about ten yards. The ball had pingponged about in the Police box, one touch being to clear the ball off the line, before Whittaker struck.
Binfield couldn’t put the game to bed and paid for it in the fourth-minute of stoppage time.
