A FIRST-HALF hat-trick from Derek Asamoah was the highlight.
Asamoah’s first came after ten minutes when the Grays’ defence left him too much room on the edge of the box.
The Blues quickly levelled the scoring through a long-range deflected shot from Rob Clark. But Asamoah was on target again from the penalty spot after he was brought down by home keeper Danny Sambridge.
Wraynell Hercules trebled the lead and Asamoah completed his hat-trick just before the break with a deft flick over his shoulder.
