MONTEL MCKENZIE’S last-minute winner decided this hard-fought clash.
The Hemel Hempstead defender pounced not long after Taunton Town had missed their best chance of the game when substitute Nat Jarvis found himself in space eight yards out. He drove his shot in but goalkeeper Craig King saved superbly with his outstretched foot.
There were just a handful of chances at both ends, in the first half Tarelle Whittaker just failed to get on the end of a driven cross from Daniel Powell just before the half hour mark.
