HAMPTON & RICHMOND Borough seemed much the happier with the point as they held the league leaders.
A resilient performance from Mel Gwinnett’s side ensured the 86 travelling Beavers supporters got to celebrate maintaining their impressive unbeaten run in the league that goes back to September – when the nineman Glovers won at the Beveree.
Gwinnett said: “Of course we are pleased with the point as this is a hard place to come, but we executed our game plan well, especially in the second half.”
