A FLURRY of first-half goals secured a winning start to 2024 for league leaders Radcliffe over Workington, as results elsewhere mean they now have a six-point lead with two games fewer than their direct title rivals.
On an occasion fuelled by the emotion of midfielder Luke Joyce’s final career appearance, the visitors looked to play spoiler, but their top goalscorers Josh Hancock and Jordan Hulme ensured anything but.
