MERTHYR Town extended their unbeaten run to six games with an impressive victory over Basingstoke Town.
Braces from both Ricardo Rees and Lewys Twamley ensured another brilliant goal performance in a fourth consecutive home victory.
The deadlock was broken 20 minutes into game through a penalty which was dispatched by Rees who continued his great goal scoring form.
