Penny’s on the money for Deal

FORMER Vase winners Deal took another step closer to a Wembley return with the 11th win in their last 12 matches.
But the South East Counties League title chasers were made to work hard for this latest success by a Cobham team who produced a dogged 90-minute performance in front of a superb crowd of 716, Deal’s best of the season.
Ben Chapman headed the home side in front from a 15th-minute Jack Penny corner but Cobham showed they weren’t going to roll over when Jacob De Sa almost equalised six minutes later.
