DAVID Noble hailed the spirit of his St Albans side after they came from behind to claim a fifth win from their past six games.
Shaun Jeffers’ double turned around a contest in which the Saints had been second best before the break, a fact not lost on their head coach.
“There were a few words said at half-time – none of them nice, nor quiet,” said Noble afterwards.
“We were lucky to be only 1-0 down but we had heart and we had desire in our response.”
