NEWTON Aycliffe emerged the victors from this mid-table encounter against Liversedge.
The first goal came in the tenth minute when Cole Kiernan was tee’d up by Ryan Barrow, who made a long run down the right wing.
Kiernan was unlucky not to double the lead soon after, his curling shot shooting narrowly over the bar.
At the other end, Nathan Fisher made a number of great saves to maintain his side’s lead.
