TRAFFORD and Leek went into the fixture at opposite ends of the table with Leek sitting on top spot having scored ten goals in their last four games without reply.
Trafford, sitting just above the relegation zone, came into the game unbeaten in six games, winning two along the way.
Leek started the game on top with two clear-cut chances in the first 20 minutes as Trafford rode their luck.
The game’s intensity increased just before the half-time whistle, with both sides refusing to shy away from any harsh tackles.
