JAMES Steele scored a brace of headers as Widnes smashed visitors Mossley.
The hosts took the lead in style midway through the first half when Olly Wright found the top corner with a 30-yard thunderbolt.
And the lead was doubled before the break when Steele notched his first of the afternoon, nodding home from a Wright set-piece.
The third came nine minutes after the restart, Steele peeling away from his man to direct a header beyond the rooted Chris Thompson.
