Despite Leighton looking well up for a fight in the January chill, the visitors opened the scoring in damning fashion after just eight minutes. Gregory Hackett was deadly, cutting in from the left to slam into the bottom right with precision.
Hackett went close again after 25 minutes but for a goal line clearance before Lance Williams
extended the visitors’ lead courtesy of a free-kick deflection. Leighton did get on to the scores...
