Kendal Town boss Jimmy Marshall says he is humbled by the board’s show of faith in him after being rewarded with an 18-month contract.
Marshall, 39, has inspired a revival at Parkside Road with the Mintcakes very much in the promotion mix as they look to bounce back into Step 4 from the North West Counties Premier Division.
And with crowds up 150 per cent from last season, Marshall has been praised for breathing fresh life into the Cumbrian outfit after years in the doldrums.
