PETERBOROUGH Sports’ fivematch unbeaten run came to an end at the hands of high-flying Scunthorpe United side managed by their old boss Jimmy Dean.
Astrike from winger Callum Roberts on 17 minutes was enough to see the Iron grab the three points.
Sports had a great chance to take the lead within the first five minutes when Hugh Alban-Jones saw Scunthorpe keeper Ross Fitzsimons off his line from about 40 yards out, sent the ball towards goal before it was cleared off the line by Reagan Ogle.
