■ THE home side took all three points thanks to Maxwell Oldham’s 35th-minute penalty.
The spot kick came after Ollie Twum was tripped just inside the 18-yard box to win Rovers the penalty.
Oldham stepped up and smashed it into the corner, sending the keeper the wrong way.
Sutton almost went two up as a long throw in from Ben Holden led to a flick onto the foot of Thomas Unsworth, whose goalbound strike took a small defection and went wide.
