TABLE-TOPPING Tamworth were fortunate to come away with a point from Alfreton Town as a goalless draw extended the hosts’ unbeaten home run to five games in all competitions.
The home side had a larger share of the clear chances, but neither were able to break the deadlock in a low-key affair in Derbyshire.
The league leaders saw the first sight of goal, with Tom Tonks’ long throw finding Jamie Willets in the box, but he sent his header wide of George Willis’ goal.
