GIANLUCA Botti scored the only goal of the game as Chertsey Town left Imber Court with all three points in the bag.
Chertsey made their early possession count as Botti tapped in from close range after a cross came in which wasn’t dealt with by Met. Botti could have made it a brace, but his shot flew over the crossbar on the half-hour mark.
Jamal Sharpe could have equalised before the half-time break, but his shot went past a post after a good pass from Ben Mendoza.
