AVELEY pinched a second-half winner against Hampton & Richmond, with victory at the Beveree steering them closer to a play-off spot.
Early on Bayley Brown played a throughball to Connor Kurran-Browne, who darted towards the edge of the box before drilling his shot inches wide.
From a free-kick, Jake Gray whipped a floating ball into the box where Luis Fernandez sent the ball wide.
Moments after getting booked, Tope Fadahunsi held the ball on the edge of the box and found Brown, who cannoned a thundering strike off the crossbar.
