AN even game saw Mossley and Clitheroe take a share of the spoils.
The Lilywhites should have been ahead in the opening seconds when Afie Belcher’s shot was parried into the path of Justin Iwobi but the striker headed over from yards out.
Mossley continued to push forward looking for an opener with Belcher at the heart of their creativity, however they found chances at a premium.
The second half saw Clitheroe looked a more attacking threat, a goal eventually coming as a cross was steered in expertly by SeftonGonzales.
