CITY of Liverpool had top scorer Josh Quarless to thank for a 95th-minute equaliser which secured a deserved point against Stalybridge.
The Purps had the better of the first half and should have had an early penalty when Quarless was felled with only a few minutes on the clock. The referee pointed for a free-kick outside the area, however.
In the second half, the visitors were awarded a penalty when substitute Darius Osei was clipped by Michael Grogan and the spot -kick was coolly despatched by Max Leonard.
