MANOLIS Gogonas fired in a late penalty to earn Westfield a point at Thatcham.
In a lively start, Thatcham keeper Callum Smart twice denied Jacob Breckon and the bar kept out Mayowa Adaje’s strike, while at the other end Sonny Wheeler saved well from Sam Tanner.
But the visitors opened the scoring after 20 minutes as Jordan Alves cut in from the right and fired home from 20 yards.
