UXBRIDGE took all three points with a convincing victory at home to Ashford, who missed two penalties.
The game started brightly with Uxbridge much the better team and they took advantage in the ninth minute when Troy Walters simply chested it in from a yard out after good play from Wilson Chingoka and Mahlondo Martin.
From there, Uxbridge looked like the only team who were going to score next but the half-time whistle blew with it still 1-0.
