Adam Hinshelwood’s tenure as York City manager got off to the worst possible start as defeat to Wealdstone saw the Minstermen drop into the National League relegation zone.
A first brace for the club from Billy Chadwick handed York a lifeline but Jack Cook’s opener and a Max Kretzschmar double ensured the visitors left north Yorkshire with the points.
