THERE was late drama at
Newton Aycliffe in what was a thrilling game for the neutral. Cleethorpes were first to find the net courtesy of Curtis Bateson’s ninth-minute low finish. Liam Adamson then equalised with a nice low shot of his own.
Cleethorpes’ Jordon Cooke scored the final goal of the first half, capitalising on some haphazard Aycliffe defending.
