AFC Rushden & Diamonds swept Coleshill Town aside to seal a shock victory and move to within just three points of safety with a game in hand. The relegation-threatened visitors couldn’t have asked for a better start when Cairo Taylor gave them the lead inside four minutes.
Things then got even better in the space of three minutes when Jacob Scott doubled Rushden & Diamonds’ lead in the 21st minute, before Taylor sealed his brace just three minutes later to put the visitors well in control.
