CHARLIE BENNETT’S header in the third minute of injury-time salvaged a point for the home side against lowly Beckenham. A fine display of goalkeeping by Nick Blue was instrumental in denying the Lancers a win.
Lancing came close to breaking the deadlock in the first half when a superb strike by George Taggart hit the crossbar.
