RAMSGATE are top of the league after a comprehensive victory over Ashford United at the Southwood Stadium.
The home side made a slow start in difficult conditions but took the lead in the 35th minute.
A long ball from the back was laid off to striker Joe Taylor who turned and fired home.
The Rams were dominant in the second half, comfortably dealing with any threat offered by their opponents.
