THE West Yorkshire outfit ran out convincing victors to sink Bridlington. The Collieries dominated the first half and saw chances come and go in the early exchanges, but had to wait to broke the deadlock. Adam Haw reacted best to a bouncing ball in the box to swivel and volley in the opener in the 44th minute.
In the second half, Adam Haw and Jack Boyle combined, before Louie Chorlton’s cross was fired in by Frankie Sinfield at the back post. Pontefract didn’t wait long to extend their lead.
