SOUTHPORT grabbed a vital point in the relegation battle with a last-minute equaliser from Richie Bennett.
It was the visitors who opened the scoring when Tony McMillan in the home goal spilt the ball and on-loan striker Ben Andreucci was on hand from 12 yards.
Southport bounced back with Luke Burgess hitting the bar from 20 yards and Bennett should have done better when clean through but Joe Young denied him.
Ben Hockenhull headed wide from a corner as Southport took command before Danny Lloyd brought the home side level on 36 minutes converting...
