Maieco shows Avenue way

STRIKER Edy Maieco scored a marvellous goal to give Bradford Park Avenue hopes of a win to stave off relegation – but a home revival blunted that.
The Derbyshire side scored twice to save a point in a game where visiting keeper Kieran Flavell made key saves before the break.
Park Avenue took a lead on 44 minutes when dangerous Adrien Thibaut scored from close range after his first effort was beaten away.
Then came Maieco’s effort which he modestly denied was Bradford’s goal of the season.
