GOALS either side of the break were enough for Canvey Island as they claimed all three points at Whitehawk.
The Hawks arrived into this Easter fixture having suffered their first defeat in eight matches last Saturday and they looked like a similar side in the Sussex sunshine.
Jamie Salmon capitalised on a Mitch Walker error to push the visitors in front, before the Hawks had a series of half chances in the remaining minutes of the first half.
