SALAMIS ON THE BRINK OF CLOSURE

THE FUTURE of New Salamis FC is in serious doubt amid fears they will cease as a senior football club at the end of the season.
Formed in 1971 by fans of Cypriot club Nea Salamis Famagusta, the North London club joined the National League System after winning the FA Sunday Cup in 2016.
They then went on to win successive promotions from Step 7 to Step 4, clinching the Spartan South Midlands League title in 2021-22 under popular manager George Georgiou.
