Blackett is treble star for Shields

SOUTH SHIELDS showcased their promotion credentials with a dominant win over relegated Bishop’s Stortford.
A hat-trick from Paul Blackett, two from Dylan Stephenson and one each from Rob Briggs and Aaron Martin helped the Mariners to their biggest win of the season.
Briggs opened the scoring in the eighth minute, stabbing in from an in-swinging corner. Stephenson made it two just five minutes later, robbing Aiden Harvey of possession, rounding Jack Giddens and rolling the ball into an empty net.
