Sports grab vital win in survival bid

MATT GREEN’S first goal for Eastbourne Borough kept Sports’ survival bid on track after they beat Weymouth.
Borough scored with ten minutes on the clock. Former Weymouth full-back David Sesay was given room to have a shot on goal, but his effort was looking to go wide of the far post until Green reacted smartly to fire a first-time shot to divert the ball into the top corner.
The impressive Finn Ballard-McBride then had an effort deflected wide, before the lively Yahya Bamba headed off target after good work from Billy Vigar....
