■ A second-half freekick by Jake Cottrell enabled Avro to come from behind to complete the double over the league champions, in a game packed with goalmouth incident but overshadowed by a serious injury to Leek defender Julius Ndene.
The visitors went in front when Rob Stevenson capitalised on a defensive error, and when his shot came back off a post, Tom Carr was on hand to net from close range after 11 minutes.
