CURZON ASHTON held the final play-off spot on the last day with a draw at bottom-of-the-table Bishop’s Stortford.
Despite starting the day in sixth, the Nash could have missed out on the promotion fight but will now take on Chorley in the midweek eliminator.
Darren Foxley went close with a speculative effort, forcing Josh Ollerenshaw into a fine diving save. Foxley stung the palms of the goalkeeper once more with a powerful half-volley, and Adam Barton’s volley lacked the pace to trouble Jack Giddens.
