ISTHMIAN LEAGUE STATEMENT

THE board of the Pitching In Isthmian League is disappointed at the announcement from the Football Association that there will no longer be replays from the first round of the FA Cup next season.
Isthmian clubs over the years have benefited greatly from replays against League clubs, none more so than Horsham and Cray Valley PM who, this season, entertained Barnsley and Charlton Athletic respectively in televised replays.
It is an opportunity for our clubs to receive broadcast fees which otherwise are denied to clubs in the National Leagues System.
