JON UNDERWOOD says his decision to step down as manager of Beaconsfield Town came long before his failure to save the Rams from relegation.
Underwood’s side slipped out of Southern League Premier South after their must-win clash with fellow strugglers Plymouth Parkway last Saturday ended in a 1-1 draw.
The 49-year-old took over at Holloways Park alongside Neil Baker 14 months ago after spending nineand-a-half years together in charge of Slough Town.
