GOAL HERO Jack Bainbridge is backing Marine to hold their own at Step 2 after playing party pooper at the Leasing. com Stadium.
Bainbridge, once on the books of Everton, Swansea and Sunderland, joined the Mariners in January from National League North side Southport.
The 25-year-old played more than 100 games for the Sandgrounders in National League North and believes his new club are ready to make the step up.
