HEREFORD opened their campaign in fine style by comfortably seeing off South Shields.
Montel Gibson, Andy Williams and Yusifu Ceesay bagged the goals, with Aaron Chapman also having a fine game in goal.
It was South Shields who had the better of the early chances and were unlucky not to go in front. Chapman made an excellent stop to deny Paul Blackett in the 16th minute before the Bulls’ new No 1 denied Aidan Rutledge.
Lewis Hudson then cleared off the line for Hereford, while Tom Broadbent headed well wide for the visitors. South ...
