LEAMINGTON made a winning return to National League North football on home turf as they capitalised on defensive lapses from visitors Spennymoor to record their first win of the season.
After a forgettable opening 15 minutes Leamington opened their account for the season as Cally Stewart bagged his second in as many games, stealing in at the far post to stab home Henry Landers’ corner.
Spennymoor levelled things before half-time, Glen Taylor deflecting the ball for Isaac Fletcher to manoeuvre into the far corner.
