■ A TORRENTIAL downpour at the beginning of each half marred this fixture between Shepshed Dynamo and newly promoted Wellingborough Town.
Wellingborough had the better of the opening possession but it was the home side who struck first, Connor Furey’s hooked ball over the top setting new signing Jahvan Davidson-Miller up to tap in past keeper Adam North at the second attempt after 17 minutes.
Wellingborough didn’t wait long to equalise as Jay Bruce powered home Jessie Obeng’s cutback from the right wing after 24 minutes.
