■ THAME edged out Enfield in a tight contest. And within 10 minutes it looked like it wasn’t going to be Enfield’s day as captain Rob Clark took an elbow to the head forcing the hosts into making an early change.
Neither side was able to break the deadlock in the first half, and the start of the second half proved just as uneventful.
But in the 77th minute, Daniels attacked the Enfield goal and looked to pass.
