BERKHAMSTED edged past Welwyn Garden City in a seven-goal thriller.
The hosts took the lead when a corner from Jonathan Lacey caused a scramble in the area and Josh Chamberlain fired home.
After 25 minutes despite Welwyn being denied again, a lovely move between Adam Watkins and Matt Bateman saw Lacey played in on goal and he beat the keeper first time to double the lead.
Welwyn pulled a goal back through Lewis Croucher with a first-time shot from a cross.
