WILLAND Rovers edged past this stage for the first time in 10 years against Western League side Brixham.
Willand started brightly with Ash Hewitt drawing a good save from visiting keeper Josh Nicol. However, after 23 minutes following a short corner, Fin Rooke volleyed Willand ahead with a sharp finish.
Brixham’s best chance fell to a set-piece when Aaron Wellington free-kick hit the base of a post in the 37 minute.
