Noble’s men end long run without win

ST ALBANS CITY and Weston-super-Mare played out a goalless draw at Clarence Park.
Going into the game on the back of five straight defeats, St Albans were looking to stop the rot.
And it was David Noble’s outfit who took the early emphasis as Shaun Jeffers sent a header over the bar.
Having withstood some early pressure, the Seagulls went in search of an opener and could have taken the lead when James Dodd shot wide.
Brandon Bak then saw a near-post effort after a superb turn tipped wide by Michael Johnson.
