DEBUTANT Mo Faal scored an 87th-minute winner as two goals in two minutes sent Worthing into the third qualifying round.
The Hawks had the first good chance on ten minutes but when a deflection bounced off the crossbar, captain Glen Rea scrambled to safety.
Havant took the lead midway through the first half when Keane Anderson took a touch and drilled into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
